Part-time. Starting Range: $18.50 – $19.50 / hour
Under the direction of the shop manager, repairs and maintains all fleet equipment in a timely fashion to ensure the safe, dependable, and efficient operation of all Company vehicles and equipment. Repairs and provides maintenance services in the following areas: Gasoline Engines, Diesel Engines, Drive Trains, Hydraulic Systems, Air and Hydraulic Brake Systems, Suspension and Steering, and Electrical / Electronic Systems.
Recommended Skills & Qualifications
- Combination of any of the following training or certifications: ASE certification, equipment manufacturer’s certifications in a related field, or technical vocational school.
- CDL Class A driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum 5 years of repair & maintenance experience on a heavy truck, automotive, and earth moving equipment.
- Possess own hand tools up to 2”, air tools, miscellaneous tooling needed to perform the job, and a lockable toolbox.
- Proficient, at making repairs in the following areas: Gasoline Engines, Diesel Engines, Engine Performance, Drive Trains, Hydraulic Systems, Air and Hydraulic Brake Systems, Suspension and Steering, Electrical / Electronic Systems, H.V.A.C., and Welding
Working Conditions
This is an outdoor, physically demanding job working in heavy equipment areas with varying seasonal weather conditions (i.e. heat, cold, wind, rain, dirt, dust, etc.)
